Gloria Alvinia Kapinos died April 6, 1989 at Kanabec County Hospital, Mora. She was 61 years old.
She was born February 19, 1928 to Gilbert and Agnes (Olson) Lovro in Hendricks, Minnesota.
She was united in marriage to Willie Kapinos on June 5, 1948 in Hendricks, Minn. They moved to a farm near Canby, Minn. and in March, 1959 moved to a farm north of Mora.
She was baptized in the Lutheran faith and confirmed at Singass Lutheran Church near Hendricks, Mn. She became a member of Our Saviors Lutheran in Canby Mn. When moving to Mora she became a member of Grace Lutheran of Mora.
She began working at Sunshine Villa in 1971 and remained there until her illness forced to to resign.
She was very active with her family and friends. She loved the outdoors and enjoyed being with and helping people. She also enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Agnes Lovro; brother Gilbert Lovro, Jr.; one son Terry; one grandson Troy Kapinos; two sisters, one in infancy and Adelline.
She is survived by her husband, Willie; her father, Gilbert Lovro Sr.; seven children, Keith and Sandra of Ogivlie, Judy and Gary Tetnowski of Mora, Janis of Cohasset, Mn., Joy and James Nehring of Ogilvie, Larry and Debbie of East Bethel, Mn., Kevin and Ranel of East Bethel, MN., and Carol at home; 13 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter; three sisters, Ruby, Joann ___________ (couldn't read as was a bad copy) and one brother, Eugene Sr.
Funeral services were held at Grace Lutheran Church of Mora on April 8, 1989. Pastor David Everett officiated.
Pallbearers were Russell and Bobby Lovro, Lee and Jeff Christopherson, Bob Alan and Reese Aldrich.
Arrangements were by Dresser-Methven Funeral Home of Mora.
