Florence Olson was born in 1900 to Peter F. and Inga (Paulson) Olson, Toronto, South Dakota. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. She attended school at Toronto, South Dakota. Upon graduation Florence became the telephone operator in Toronto. She was a beautiful and talented girl She was engaged to be married when she had to have an operation for a busted apendix. The day she was to come home from the hospital she got a blood clot in her leg and died November 23, 1920.
The body was taken home on the Rock Island passenger train. She was buried in her wedding dress at the Toronto Cemetery, Toronto, South Dakota.
Florence is survived by her parents Peter F, and Inga (Paulson) Olson, one sister, Gena Gravning and four brothers, Oscar B. Olson, Lawrence Olson, Palmer Olson and Gust Olson all of Toronto, South Dakota.
