Marriage
The marriage record for Eliza and Christian shows that this is the second marriage for both of them. Eliza and Christian divorced, had no children. Christian was a retired farmer from Victor, Iowa. They were married in the bride's home at Brooklyn, Iowa.Fort Collins Weekly Courier, 03 April 1907

Death
Obituary ... Mrs. Eliza Mohr passed away Sunday morning, June 29, at 11:55 o'clock at her home, 241 E. Jefferson Street, Pomona, Calif., after an illness of two years.Mrs. Mohr, 91 years of age, was born in Switzerland on May 19, 1850 and when two years of age she came to the United States with her family. For many years, she made her home in Brooklyn, Iowa, and 22 years ago she came to California. She had resided in Pomona since that time. I. Mae Jones, local music teacher, has made her home with Mrs. Mohr for several years. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church of this city, and the Pythian Sisters.
Surviving relatives are a brother, John Breniman, Fort Collins, Colo.; two nephews, W. E. Wootters, Chula Vista, Calif., and Fred Breniman, Brooklyn, Iowa; four nieces, Adele Wootters, Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. W. J. Miller, West wood Hills, Los Angeles; Miss Marie Breniman, Stockton, Calif., and Miss Clara Breniman, Des Moines, Iowa, and other nieces and nephews in the East.
