Dr. Elbridge Maxwell BRENIMAN
(24 Oct 1871 - 22 Oct 1944)
Funeral services were held at the C.H. Brandt funeral parlors,conducted by the Rev. A.K. Henning, pastor of the First Evangelical church. Interment of his remains was in the mosoleum at the Oakwood Cemetery, Ackley.
The only reference to Elbridge found is that he was Ackley Mayor from 1918-1922 and that he donated $2 to the Sauerkraut Days in 1908.

Notice in the paper...Married Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock, 21 Aug.,1901 at the home of the brides' parents, Mr and Mrs C.W. Reinke of Ackley, Hardin Co., Iowa, Miss Lena Augusta Reinke and Dr. Elbridge Maxwell Breniman were bound in the sacred bonds of matrimony for life. Rev. A.L. Houser performing the ceremony, the solemn and impressive ring service being used.Marriage
