Forrest Eugene BRENIMAN

Forrest was born on a farm southeast of Brooklyn, received his education in Warren No.10 and Brooklyn High School, graduating in 1932. He was a in 4-H, and showed cattle at fairs. He farmed with his father and was a breeder of purebred Aberdeen Angus cattle.
After 27 years of farming, he moved into Brooklyn in 1960 and became an auctioneer, a lifelong ambition. He was a graduate of Reisch Auctioneer School, Mason City, Iowa.
He was a former member of Kiwanis, served as justice of the peace, belonged to the Brooklyn Commercial Club in which he directed many flea markets, helped with the 125th Brooklyn anniversary Committee, and was Parade Grand Marshall during Brooklyn Days.
He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brooklyn. He served twenty years on the board of directors of Brookhaven Nursing Home at Brooklyn.
Later in life, he and Hazel took part in flea markets as long as health would permit.
