Lester Raymond BRENIMAN

(15 Jan 1905 - 17 Jul 1995)

Lester was a resident of Hot Springs since the 1960's, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church there. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, Shriner and author of a book on parliamentary law and former college forensics coach and oral communications professor.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Parson's College at Fairfield, Iowa, his master's from Northwestern University and Ph.D from Iowa State University. He was a associate professor of speech at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, Illinois.

Lester R. Breniman,90, of Hot Springs, Ark., formerly of Brooklyn, died Monday, July 17, 1995, in his home after a long illness. Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are with Nevenhoven Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret; and a sister, Ruth Adkins of Grinnell.
