Senator Nathaniel Hunt Greer

"Nathanial Hunt Greer was born in Georgia and came to Texas in the 1830's. He came by boat from Mobile, Alabama to Valesco, Texas, then to Washington on the Brazos, seat of government of the Texians at the time of the Texas War of Independence." Nathaniel Hunt Greer came to Texas and settled in Washington County in March of 1837. He was a member of the House of Representatives of the Congress of the Republic of Texas form November 11, 1839 to November 12, 1840.
