"I am certain that the Benjamin Greer that married Frances Divers was the brother of Rhoda and Ezekiel because a Benjamin Greer and his wife Frances signed a deed in Franklin County in 1831 along with other heirs of James Greer to settle up the estate of the latter." (from a letter dated January 26, 1954 from Wayne S. Bowman to Martha V. Harris located in the papers of Martha V. Harris, Phoenix, Arizona, during the 1950's, as taken from a LDS microfilm.)
"Frances (Fannie) Divers Greer born in Franklin County, Virginia 1788 married 1812 died January 18, 1869. Benjamin Greer born in Franklin County, Virginia 1785, married 1812, died February 17, 1869, came to Pettis County, Missouri in 1832 and settled on farm about 12 miles north of Sedalia near Longwood. They are buried on this farm now owned by a Great Granddaughter, Mary Ellen Greer Wall (Mrs. John Wall)." (From part of the GREER - DIVERS RECORDS as found in the papers of Martha V.
