Lola Estelle Brewer

(November 1, 1883 - September 21, 1956)

"Frank and Lola Farrell were living on Pearl River Avenue in McComb, Mississippi, in summer of 1932 . My mother and I stayed with them for some weeks or months. By fall of that year we had a rented home of our own. The Farrells moved away sometime after that without notice in my young life. I did not know what happened to them, but sixty years later, when I began to research the family, stray bits of information led me to believe that they had moved to California, probably with or near Aunt Mabel. In September 2000 this guess was confirmed. Lena Riley provided a copy of obituary of Myrtis Brewer Ham in which survivors include: "three sisters, Mrs. F. W. Farrell and Mrs M. T. Gutelius of Long Beach, California, and Mrs. G. M. Guy of McComb." (Davis Brewer, email: dbrewer@magic-sweep.com, 2003.)
