Mrs. Zuline Rhodes Dies at Age of 82
Services for Mrs. Zuline Davis Rhodes, 82, who died at 8:30 am Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Linda Rhodes, were conducted from the Norman Funeral Home Wednesday at 2 pm with the Rev. Crawford L. Ray and the Rev. W. D. Smith officiating.
Interment was in the Concord Cemetery with Norman Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Rhodes had bee in failing health for several years.
She was born in Chickasaw county where she had lived all of her life. She was the daughter of the late John L. Davis and Sally Porter Davis, and was a member of the Van Vleet Methodist Church.
She is survived by a daughter Mrs. Rhodes of Houston; three sons, Howard Davis of Houston, Harold Davis of Greenville, Miss., and Harper Davis of Clarksdale, Miss.; a brother, Morgan Davis of Houston; a niece, Mrs. T G Floyd of Turrell, Ark., whom she reared, nine granchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
