Horace and Marilda Ivory.

"A daughter of Horace Ivory of Smithville, Jefferson county, NJ fell into a canal a day or two ago and was drowned." Although there is a Smithville, NJ, that state has no Jefferson Co. and no Ivorys ever lived there during a census year. I think this is what happened to five year old Nancy.
