Research Questions
Are there 2 Ioannis Nikolaos' or just one? There is an Ioannis Nikolaos born 1905, father: Nikolaos. source: Mitroon Arrenon.
There is an Ioannis Nikolaos born 1887, source: church birth-baptismal record; father: Nikolaos; mother: Georgitsa.
His baptismal date is one week after his birth, indicating perhaps that he was baptized early because he was sick and not expected to live. Also, it makes sense that Ioannis would be the first born in the family because it keeps with the naming tradition of being named after his paternal grandfather (Ioannis).
So as not to "lose" this child, I am adding him as a separate individual and assuming he died in 1887. Unfortunately, the death books for this church begin in 1913 so I can't verify if he died in 1887.
The unusual thing is that a second male child would be named Ioannis in this family. That is not a Greek practice.
