My grandmother, Georgia Piperis, made 2 transatlantic trips to the U.S., but she never stayed. She saw the boys that were here and she would bring additional ones. The last one she brought was my father, Leonidas, but he didn't want to stay here so at 10 years old he went back to Greece with her. And he came back to the States much, much later, in his 20's.
