At the same time Oliver had a lawsuit filed against him, the same man filed against Isaac McCoy and Robins McCoy for the same thing in the same location. It is probable that this was Oliver's brother and father as his brother Robins was deceased.
Robins' pension papers state that Isaac was deceased in 1895. However, story from Veda McCoy indicates that he was living under an assumed name - Jack Hughes - and was known to the family, although he never admitted he was Isaac. See the detailed story in Oliver's notes. According to Veda, he died after 1933.
