Note that Thomas Landers and family is listed just above Henry and three above is William Landers and family.

Death certificate says he was born 25 June 1860, but that would conflict with the census information. The census in this case is more likely to be correct.

John was unmarried on 12 Feb 1886 when he and his brothers deeded their 3/4 interest in their deceased father's land.

Based on the years of birth for Virgil and William, it is possible that they were Irene's from a previous marriage.
