Delbert DILLON

Lived in Exeter at time of his father's death. Steiner's book alsonotes he lived in Exeter.
Obituary copied in "Passing in Exeter, An Anthology of Exeter'sNecrologies", at the Exeter Library, doesn't give the newspaper and isdated only "1932". It reads:
"Woodlake Man Dies in Exeter - Exeter, April 22, - Delbert Dillon, 75,a native of Woodlake and a resident of this vicinity all his life,died yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock in his home four miles east ofhere after a lenthy illness of heart disease.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sue Howard Dillon of Exeter; fivedaughters, Mrs. Maude Stewart of Exeter, Mrs. Ruth Collier of Fresno,Mrs. Lena Cummings of Visalia, Mrs. Zelpha Cunningham of Taft and Mrs.May Gray of Santa Barbara; three sons, M. C. Dillon of Exeter, DelbertDillon, Jr., of Three Rivers, and Howard Dillon of Monterey; twobrothers, Henry A. Dillon of Lindsay and Alma Dillon of Porterville,and one sister, Mrs. Joe Green of Lindsay.
Funeral rites will be conducted here at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoonwith the J. M. Hadley parlors in charge of arrangements. Rev. McClarenwill officiate and interment will take place in the Exeter cemetery."
