"Cuthbert Dillon, Native of Exeter, Dies at Lemoore -
Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Phipps chapel inLemoore and graveside services were held in the Exeter cemetery thatafternoon for Nathan Cuthbert Dillon, a native of Exxeter and memberof one of the earliest families of this area, who died suddenly inLemoore Friday at the age of 70.
He had lived in Lemoore for the past three years. He and his wifeoperated a store and service station west of Lemoore.
He is survived by hsi wife, Viola, of Lemoore; five sisters, Mrs. RuthSmith and Mrs. Maude Stewart of Exeter; Mrs. May Gray of Taft, Mrs.Zelpha Cunningham of Taft and Mrs. Lena Garcia of Gilroy, and severalnieces and nephews.
Rev. L. V. Fletcher of the Island Baptist church officiated at theservices. Casket bearers were Les Tucker, Douglas Kalar, EarlBillings, Muriel Cross, Cecil Robinson and Earl Graeber."
