Much information on Nathan's family from "The Dauntless Dillons". Also, family information is in Ina Stiner's book, bio on the Dillon Family. She did, however, have serious errors in her Duncan information, so this needs to be otherwise confirmed.
Nathan's death certificate shows his age at death as 83 years 5 months 11 days. That would have made birth date May 15, 1820. The death certificate, however, shows April 15, 1820 as his birth date. It states he was born in North Carolina, length of residence at place of death was 27 years, he was a widower and occupation was "capitalist". George Dillon was the informant.
