Obituary in the Evening Recorder, Porterville, CA, Friday August 31,1934:
"NATIVE OF THE SPRINGVILLE AREA DIES AT VISALIA - N. A. Dillon, 68, anative of Tulare county and a resident of the Springville mountaindistrict all his life, died Thursday night at a Visalia hospital. Inearly days, Mr. Dillon operated a sash factory at Springville, hhisvocations being that of a carpenter and mill worker. He was alsoemployed years ago by the late Aven Coburn in the sawmill in themountain section. Dillon's mill was long operated by members of thefamily.
The deceased was widely known in the mountain section of the county.He has been unable to work for a number of years because of illhealth. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary E. Dillon, and two sons,Eralso Dillon of Porterville and Aubrey Dillon of Waukegan, Ill. He isalso survived by two nieces, Mrs. Myrtle Meddick and Mrs. Arthur Hall,a nephew, George Dillon, and other neices [sic] and nephews."
