Rob was married in 1924. I think Bill stayed in Mass after the WWI in 1919 and Art stayed in GA after WWI. Art was a vat. Kate had sent John, George and Art to vet school. When Ethel was 20 she moved into a house in St Cloud in 1923. Ellen was married in 1924. Ellen and Ethel went to business college. By 1924 all the kids were gone. Kate sold the farm in 1925.

Edna said she remembered visiting her grandmother Kate Yager on the farm. She was about 9 and remembered visiting. the house was an old house. She remembered the barn too. The old house burned in 1921 and was replaced. When mother and Edna and I visited the old farm Edna remembered many things. She went in the barn and told the young man who lived there how the milking stantions used to be set up.

The metal pictures that I got from mother belonged to Katherine Yager my mother's grandma. They were given to Katherine by a man from Holyoke, MA who wanted to marry her. They came from Europe. They were used for bartering. Ethel got one and Ellen got one and they gave them to mother. Mother had them fromed in Dickinson like they were originally. She hung them on wall in each house she lived in. She gave them to me when she moving from her home.

St Cloud Times 7 Apr 1938
Older residents of St Cloud remember Adam Yaeger, who lived on the old Pleasant lake road, about a half-dozen miles from the city. He died some years ago, from an accident, leaving Mrs. Yaeger and several children to manage the farm, and that they did successfully. One son, G F Yaeger, moved to Saul Centre. This week he was elected mayor in a close race. This will be good news to the mother who bravely carried the burden of educating the children after the death of her husband.
