(1699 - )

6 Jun 1730, Thomas Moreton was granted 354 acres in Prince George Co on the Appomattox River above William Lax. His will awarded his son Thomas 250 acres in Prince George, 200 acres to son John, and daughters Ann and Judith each 150 acres, for a total of 750 acres in Prince George Co. Part of these bequests may have been contingent on the following grants awarded his widow.

A grant to Joseph Watson of Henrico, 121 acres in Amelia Co., was also on the south side of the Appomattox and mentions boundaries on Joseph Morton [Thomas's brother] and David Lisle.
