Engagement Announced
Mr. & Mrs. Robert Fenner Jackson, of Nashville, annouce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Eunice Baxter, and Mr. Marvin Early Holderness, o St. Louis. The wedding will take place in the early autumn.
Miss Baxter has visited in Knoxville and has many relatives and friends here who will be interested in her approaching marriage. She belongs to one of the most prominent families in the state and is a connection of ex-Gov. George W. Baxter, of this city.

The St. Louis Globe-Democrat prints the following society item, accompanied by a handsome half tone photographic reproduction of the bride-elect and which is of interest to friends of the groom and members of his family here and at Fordyce:
"The marriage of Miss Eunice Baxter Jackson of Nashville, Tenn., and M. E. Holderness, assistant cashier of the Third National Bank of St. Louis, will take place at 8 o'clock next Saturday eveing at the West End Methodist church in Nashville. Bishop E. R. Hendrix of Kansas City will perform the cermony.
....Dr. J. S. Holderness of Pine Bluff, Ark., a brother of the bridegroom to be, will be best man.
...The couple will take a Western trip and will be at home at 5646 Kingsbury Blvd after November 15th."
