His residence was 3606 West End Ave. He was married to Mannie Baxter Jackson. Born 12 Oct 1857 in Tennessee. He was an Attorney. Father was Dr. Alexander Jackson b. VA; mother Eunice Buford, b. TN. R. F. Jackson of Belle Meade Apt. was the informant. Buried on Aug 28th, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Funeral Monday for Robert F. Jackson, Prominent Lawyer
Funeral services for Robert F. Jackson, prominent attorney and citizen of Nashville who died in a local hospital early Saturday morning following several weeks illness, will be held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock at his residence, 1606 West End Avenue. Dr. George Stoves will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
For more than 50 years Mr. Jackson had lived in Nashville... former president of the Nashville Bar & Library Association and for many years a member of the Council of the American Bar Assocation
...He was born in Jackson, the youngest son of Dr. Alexander and Eunice Buford Jackson. His father was a well known physician of that section of the state, and he was a brother of the late Justice Howell E. Jackson and Gen. William H. Jackson. He attended Vancerbilt University, received his degree from the law school there in 1881...
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Mannie Baxter Jackson, daughter of the late Nathaniel Baxter; two sons, Robert F. Jackson Jr. of Nashville and Nathaniel Baxter Jackson of New York City; and a daughter Mrs. Marvin E. Holderness of St. Louis, MO; and six grandchildren, Eunice Jackson Holdernes, Marvin E. Holderness, Jr., Emmie Keith Jackson, Milbrey Jackson, Mannie Baxter Jackson, and Robert Fenner Jackson, III.

Brother of Mrs. Robert F. Maddox Was Prominent in Legal Field.
Robert F. Jackson, Prominent lawyer of Nashville, Tenn., and a brother of Mrs. Robert F. Maddox, widely known Atlanta woman, died Saturday morning at his residence in Nashville. He was 70 years of age.
Mr. Jackson, a member of one of the best known families of Tennessee, was for 25 years attorney for the Nashville Electric and Power Company and a trustee of Vanderbilt University.
He was a half brother of Howell E. Jackson, United States supreme court justice, and a half brother of General Jackson, owner of the Belle Meade Farm, near Nashville. Mrs. Maddox, his sister, is the wife of the chairman of the board of the First National Bank of Atlanta.
He also survived by his wife, two sons, N. Baxter Jackson, vice president of the Chemical Bank & Trust Company of New York, and Robert Jackson, Nashville insurance man, and a daughter, Mrs. M. E. Holderness, whose husband is vice president of the First National Bank of St. Louis, MO. Funeral arrangements have not been announced.
