Mary "Polly" Proctor

(9 Jan 1805 - )

Logan Co DB U, p.114 For natural love and affection that Ben Proctor bears towards his daughter Polly Dicky, wife of James G. Dicky. To Charles Proctor as trustee for my daughter, Negro woman Rhody about 25 and her three children. James Dicky to have use of them but they are not subject to his debts or control. Slaves not to be taken out of Kentucky. 24 Nov 1835.

In 1850, there was a James Dickey living in Simpson Co KY, Hh 201 - he was age 60, b. KY.
M. Dickey, age 40, female, was the only other person in the household. This could be Polly, whose name was likely Mary. A James G. Dickey, age 50-60, was in Simpson in 1840, but again with only one female, age 30-40, no children. In 1830, Simpson Co, was James G. Dickey age 40-50 with a female, age 20-30. Apparently Polly Proctor Dickey had no children.
