Ladonia - Mrs. Ruby L. Land, 78, died Saturday morning at McCuistion Regional Medical Center in Paris.
Services are set for 2 pm Sunday at the Oak Ridge Church of Christ with Kenneth Neal of Garland, officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Ridge Cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral Home of Ladonia.
She was born June 9, 1900, in Ladonia, a daughter of Arthur and Hazy (Hulsey) Wishard. On Dec. 24, 1919, she married Cecil Land, who preceded her in death in 1975.
Survivors include two sons, Jack Land of Cooper and Jesse Pittman of Fort Worth; four daughters, Frances Fields and Hazelle Hicks both of Ladonia; Susan Ashmore of Longview and Betty Butler of Bonham; two brothers, Robert Wishard and Wayne Wishard, both of Oak Ridge; three sisters, Laura Milton and Jewel Cunningham, both of Oak Ridge and Johnnie Fink of Mount Pleasant and 13 grandchildren.
