Texas Death Certificate #18447. She apparently died at home; she had lived all her life in Ladonia. Born 11 Oct 1883 and died 26 Feb 1968, age 84. Her father was John Hardey Hulsey; her mother Laura V. Castle. Her son Robert was the informant. Cause of death given as "Natural Causes". There was an Inquest on the day of her death. She was buried Oak Ridge Cemetery, Fannin Co.
Although her name on her death certificate and her grave marker is "Hazy" which is how it is recorded in all the family papers - her obit gave her name as Hazel.

Services Held For Mrs. Hazel Wishard Tuesday
Ladonia (Spl.) - Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Wishard, 85, were held at the Oak Ridge Church of Christ Monday afternoon with Norman Doan and J. B. Lancaster, Church of Christ ministers, officiating. Interment was in the Oak Ridge cemetery under the direction of Delta Funeral home.
Mrs. Wishard died at her home in the Oak Ridge community at 4 a.m. Monday, Feb. 26, 1968, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Wishard was born Feb. 11, 1893, in the Oak Ridge community, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Hulsey. She married A. A. Wishard July 27, 1899, at Oak Ridge. He preceded her in death in 1927.
She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are two sons, Robert and Wayne Wishard of Ladonia; five daughters, Mrs. Cecil Land, Mrs. Jewel Cunningham, Mrs. Loy Nelson, Mrs. Faye Smith and Mrs. Ed Fink, 25 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons were pallbearers.
