Indiana Death Certificate #11. Susanna Akers died 17 Feb 1911, Crothersville, Vernon Twp, Jackson Co, IN of lobar pneumonia and measles. She was born 21 Jul 1841 in Kentucky and was married to James Akers. Her father was William Winkler, b. NC: her mother was Margaret Farthen, b. KY. James Akers was the informant. She was buried in Crothersville, Feb 18th.
James Akers has an Indiana Death Certificate #13575. He died in Brownstown, Jackson Co, IN of asthma and endocarditis and old age, on 1 April 1923. Born in 1843 in Kentucky, he was widowed. The informant, J. B. Cross, did not know his parents. Body was taken to Crothersville for burial.
