Mr. & Mrs. William Winkler of Los Angeles, California, arrived last night to remain the guests of Mr. Winkler's grandmother, Mrs. Eliza J. White, for some time. Their arrival proved quite a surprise to their many relatives and friends, as their coming was unannounced. Their last visit here was during the holidays four years ago. Mr. Winkler is at present a very prominent and prosperous real estate man of Los Angeles.

Eliza J. White, died 14 Apr 1930 of acute myocarditis, in Indianapolis, Marion Co, IN. She was a widow and was born 2 May 1851 in Kentucky. Her father's name listed as "Winkler" - her mother unknown. James W. White of Bedford, IN was the informant. She was buried in Bedford, April 17th.

Remains Being Returned Here for Funeral Services and Burial Thurday.
James W. White, 403 N. Street, has been advised of the death Monday night at 7:30 o'clock of his mother, Mrs. Eliza J. White, at her home in Indianapolis.
The remains will be brought here Wednesday noon and funeral services will be conducted from the home of her son Thursday afternoon, the exact hour for services not having been fixed. burial will be made in Beech Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. White was a former resident of Bedford but moved with her husband to Indianapolis about fourteen years ago. Mr. white has preceded her to the grave.
She is survived by two sons, James W. of Bedford, and Roscoe of Rushville; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Horne and Mrs. Stella Vaught, both of Indianapolis.
