1st known record of Dorothy:
3 Feb 1672/3 Westmoreland Co Court Records, p.346 Deposition of Jonathan Towers, aged 29, Dorothy Veale called Mrs. Elonor Quigley assortment of ugly names. Elinor Towers, age 19, saith the same that her husband saith. 30 Apr 1673.
This would place both Morris and Dorothy as Adults, at least aged 25 or so or born some before 1657. The previous October, Morris Veale had bought 200 acres of land from John Quigley.

25 Aug 1706 Dorothy Veale acknowledged Tos. Thorn, as her attorney in all matters relating to Court

29 Aug 1706 Burdett Ashton, late Sheriff to have body of Thomas Newton at Court [Westmoreland Co VA] to answer Dorothy Veale in plea of debt. Newton failed to appear; Ashton ordered to attach his estate
Note: 3 Mar 1728/9 Burdett Ashton received Grant in what was then Stafford Co, 457 acres, south side Occaquan adj. Veal.... [later became Prince William]

26 May 1708 John Williams, servant to Dorothy Veale, judged to be 12 years of age. William Pew, servant to Dorothy Veale adjudged to be 16 years of age.

p.70 27 Apr 1715 Sheriff summon Dorothy Veale to answer petition of John Williams against her for corn and cloaths.
Is his indenture complete? If he was 12 in 1708, he would now be age 19 and would have served seven years.

p.86 25 May 1715 John Williams agst Dorothy Veale - she produced a discharge from John for same which being adjudg'd to have been obtained contrary to law. Dorothy must pay him 10 bushels of Indian corn, 30sh in money or the value thereof in goods and one well fixed musquett or fuzee with costs.

Veale researchers believe Dorothy went to Maryland with son William and daughter Eleanor.
