Paul McKim's death certificate gave his mother's place of birth as Scotch Ridge, Ohio. I find no Scotch Ridge in Belmont County today, but there was a town called that then. The Alexander family was in Pease Twp of Belmont Co in the 1840 census.

She died of nephritis, 31 Mar 1910 and was buried Elmwood Cemetery.
