Victor's World War I Draft Card gave his birthdate; he was then age 45 - this did not agree with his stated age in the 1900 census, as born Jan 1873. He gave sister Laura Lynn as his next of kin. He listed his occupation as Carpenter; self-employed. His description was medium height, stout build, brown eyes and dark hair.

In 1930, Victor lived with brother Paul in Arkansas; he died in June of that year. He was not named in Paul's obituary in 1946 as a survivor.

Victor Norwood McKim, died at City Hospital, Fayetteville, Washington Co., 21 Jun 1930, of general paresis. and acute uninary retention. His home was Kansas City, MO. He was single, a Boat Builder. No birth date furnished - died at age 60 in Kansas. Father was Miflin Dallas Mckim, b. OH; mother's maiden name was Alexander, also b. OH. Paul McKim of Rt 1, Fayetteville, was the informant. Buried Fairview Cemetery, June 23rd.

Victor is buried Fairview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Funeral services for Victor Norwood McKim of Kansas City, who died here Saturday morning, were held at Moore's chapel this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. William Sherman officiating. Interment was in Fairview memorial Park.
Pallbearers were Mike Flynn, John Smyth, Leo Smyth, Garland Sherrod, J. E. Helams, and Jack Johnson.
Mr. McKim had been ill at the home of his brother, Paul McKim for three months. His brother, Guy McKim of Kansas City, and his sister, Mrs. John F. Lynn, also of Kansas city, came for the funeral.
