Elizabeth married Willie Higgs 1821. On 15 Sep 1821, Joseph made a deed of gift to Elizabeth of four slaves. The girl Rose, part of this gift later appeared in Joseph's will as one of a number of slaves to be divided among daughters Lydia, Nancy & Martha. Willie Higgas married again in 1823 to Nancy Pittman, so apparently Elizabeth died soon after the marriage.
