Luvina married Britain Spellings. The family is counted on the 1820 and 1830 censuses in Edgecombe Co. The family moved to TN, Gibson Co before 1834 when Britain was taxed there. He must have died soon after the move because Luvina married (2) to Thomas Staton in Gibson Co on 21 Jan 1836. Thomas was also probably deceased before 1840 when Luvina Staton was listed as head of household. The Spellings had seven sons, one daughter.
