HONEY GROVE - Lucille Myers, 82, of Honey Grove died Saturday, Dec 14, in St. Joseph's Hospital.
Services were scheduled for 2 pm Monday, Dec 16, in Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bobby Holt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Myers was born in the Bagby community of Fannin County, Nov 25, 1909, a daughter of Benjamin Franklin Wishard and Nancy Lucinda Blodgett Wishard. She married Lawrence (Jimmy) Myers Dec 6, 1927 in Reno, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Honey Grove.
Surviving are her husband; one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Gladys Myers of Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Maria V. Myers of Fort Worth; two grandsons, Larry McKinney Myers and John Gordon Myers and one granddaughter, Deborah Ann Myers. She was preceded in death by a son in 1978, Lt. Col. John Riley Myers.
