Honey Grove - Mrs. Ethel Wishard Taylor, Rt. 1, Honey Grove, died at 2:30 pm Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Paris after a long illness.
Funeral services are set for 3 pm Thursday at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Michael Dyer and Dr. James Heflin of Mansfield, LA, officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.
She was born Jan. 27, 1897 in the dial Community, the daughter of Ben. F. wishard and Lucindy Blodgett. She married Brode Taylor Aug 8, 1915. He preceded her in death on Oct 1, 1918.
Survivors include one brother, Clifton Wishard of Dial Community; two sisters, Mrs. L. E. Myers of Honey Grove and Mrs. Vina Vickers of Boswell, Okla., and several nieces and nephews.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7:30 to 9 pm Wednesday.
