Rites Are Held For Miss Wishard
Funeral services for Miss Alma Mae Wishard were held at her home Sunday November 19, 1961.
Rev. T. J. Watts, First Baptist Church, Honey Grove, and the Rev. Larry Baker, Pastor of the Dial Baptist Church, officiated at the services. Interment was in the Oak Ridge Cemetery with Wise Funeral Home directing.
Pallbearers were Gerald Wishard, Rayford Stroud, John Avery and Don Myers.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Taylor, and Mrs. L. E. Myers, both of Honey Grove, Mrs. Vina Vickers of Durant, Oklahoma, and three brothers, Frank and Clifton Wishard, both of Honey Grove and Emmett Wishard of Fort Worth, and a number of nieces and nephews.

In Memoriam
November 18, 1961, Alma was released from the frail little pain wracked physical body to enter the enternal home not made with hands. Though she was confined to a chair or the bed, she was a ray of sunshine to everyone who knew her but especially to the immediate family. She always welcomed visitors in the home with a cheerful smile and a wave of the hand. She loved to have children about her and was jubilant to have a baby placed on her lap. Though she was not able to speak many words, she was very expressionable in that she could make her thoughts and desires known to those in her presence. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends, but most especially by her sister, Ethel, who so lovingly and devotedly administered to her every need and wish, however, we know the Lord in his infinite wisdom has made no error in calling her home.
