Martha Louise Kirkpatrick was born 14 February 1886 and died 7 [6] November 1967. She married on 6 July 1913 to Arthur Ernest Miller of Mooresville, North Carolina. Arthur was born 6 January 1889 and died 1 August 1954. Both are buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Fort Lawn, Chester County, South Carolina.

Miller of Edgemont, formerly of Fort Lawn, died Monday at Chester County Hospital. Mrs. Miller was born at Fort Lawn, daughter of John Henry and Hattie Gladney Kirkpatrick. Surviving are one daughter, Miss Margaret Miller of Edgemont; two sisters, Mrs. W. G. Anderson of Chester and Mrs. Ernest Crosby of Fort Lawn; and three brothers, Joe G. of Fort Lawn, J. M. of Columbus, Ga., and D. A. Kirkpatrick of Bishopville. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fort Lawn Methodist Church, directed by Barron Funeral Home.
