Chester, April 18---(Special)---Funeral services for William Murray Kirkpatrick, 64, chief operator of the Nitrolee plant of the Duke Power company in Eastern Chester county, who died yesterday of a sudden illness, were conducted this afternoon from Bethel Methodist church at Fort Lawn. He had been associated for a quarter of a century with the Hydro-electric department of the Duke Power company, and was one of its most valued engineers. His sudden death came as a great shock to his hosts of friends. Survivors include his wife, the former Miss Mattie McDonald; two sons; one grandson; his step-mother; four sisters and four brothers.
