The family will receive friends and family after the service in the church parlor. Mr. Kirkpatrick, 95, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. He was born March 1, 1917, in Fort Lawn. Survivors include two sons, William Michael Kirkpatrick of Mocksville, N.C. and Carl Walker Kirkpatrick of Winston-Salem.
