Born in Chester County, she was a daughter of the late John Henry and Hattie Gladney Kirkpatrick. Surviving are two step-daughters, Mrs. Harriet Wood of Oceanside, Calif., and Mrs. Martha Turbyfill of Gainesville, Fla.; two stepsons, Rufus H. Crosby of Catawba and Ernest G. Crosby, Jr. of Charleston; and 10 step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in Elmwood Cemetery. Mahaffey Funeral Home of Lancaster is in charge.
