Daily American Republic, Poplar Bluff, Missouri, December 4, 2008: Piedmont---Betty E. Kime, 77, of Piedmont died Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2008, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Kime was born Sept. 21, 1931, in Patterson. She was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker. On May 22, 1948, she married Fred Kime. He preceded her in death on June 27, 1977. Survivors include five sons, Fred Kime, Jr., Barry Kime, Dennis Kime, Kevin Kime and Grant Kime; one daughter, Sheri Lee Kime; five sisters, Dorothy Carrow, Frieda McMurry, Caroline Young, Edna Darden and Julie Hicks; 16 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. tonight at the Ruegg Funeral Home in Piedmont. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Friday in the chapel with the Rev. W. Michael Woods officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
