The copy at Center County Library is in error and is a handwritten copy of the original. At Penn State it is clear that the namea is Davis Goheen and at Centre County Library it is David Goheen.

"Davis Goheen, father of our subject, was born in 1802, in Lancaster county, where he grew into manhood, and in Boalsburg, Centre Co., Penn., he married Miss Sarah Marian, who was born in that county, of Scotch ancestry." Davis Goheen was born 1802, in Lancaster county. He would have been a more appropiate age for marriage.
Page 485, from Indiana Historical Soc; "John Goheen was born in Porter township, Clarion county in 1829, and was the son of Davis and Sarah Goheen nee Mahans. His paternal grandparents were James and Elizabeth Goheen nee Davis. The former was of Scotch-Irish descent."

I order and direct, that if my brothers Robert and John Goheen shall choose to pay that part or parts of my just debts, which my personal estate shall be encumber to discharge, such payments and interest shall be accrued by my father until such time as they may choose to collect it.
And lastly I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my esteemed friend John B. Mitchell, to be the executor of this last will and testament. Hereby revoke all other wills here fore by me made, and satisfying and commencing this deed no other to be my last will and testament.

Obituary: Died - On the 2d day of Jan in Pine Grove, Centre County, Pa, Mr David R Goheen, in the 47th year of his age.
Mr Goheen was at the tine of his death a member of the Presbyterian Church. ... He was the subject of protracted and severe affliction. For more than two years he was confined to his room, during which tine his bodily sufferings were frequently extremely intense ... His end was calm and peaceful ... He has left many relatives a deeply afflicted widow, and four interesting children, to mourn their loss.
