Her father, Edward H. Myers was age 34 and had been married 9 years. He was born in Pennsylvania, and parents also born in Pennsylvania. Ed taught English at the local High school. Lorraine's mother, Virginia M. was age 33 and had 2 children. She was born in Pennsylvania and her parents was born in Pennsylvania. they eloped with the help of their friends. Everyone pushed Richard's parent's car a block away before cranking (starting) it for the trip to Cumberland, Maryland. Elizabeth, Lorraine's sister, was to inform the parents' the next day.Census

After my brother graduated from Deming High School he went to college and mom and I moved back to Pennsylvania to live with dad.Residence
I moved Mom from Boalsburg to our home in Albuquerque about Thanksgiving. This was after Dad died on !9 January 1982 while they were living in Boalsburg. They owned the Myers house at that time and Aunt Elizabeth was in the Centre County Nursing home in Bellefonte at that time.Illness
Mom suffered a stroke and was in Presbyterian hospital and had a full recovery, after that she spent a year with us.Illness
She had cataract surgery. Ever since she moved to Albuquerque she had muscular pain and was on Pregnason a Steroid that accelerated the Cathartic problemResidence
Mom moved to a retirement home. She was excited for the move and the freedom it provided. The residences could eat in the dining room or make their own meals. Mom enjoyed eating with others and made many friends. On 5 June 1985 mom was moved to the Health Care facility in the complex. She had begun to have lost the ability to navigate and had fallen. She was reluctant to move and wanted to keep her apartment but it had to be sold to provide for the cost of care in the health facility.Death
Cause of death was Cardiac arrest. Mom was in a nursing home for about 9 months before her death.Obituary:
Lorraine M Goheen, 79, of 5201 Roma Drive, Northeast, Bernalillo County, New Mexico, formerly of 107 E Pine St. Boalsburg, died at Manzano Del Sol Nursing Home, Albuquerque, N.M. Monday Jan 13, 1986 at 5:30 p.m.
Mrs Goheen had been a member of St John's United hurch of Christ, Boalsburg.
She is survved by a son, Rihard M of Los Lunas, N.M.; a daughter Elizabeth L. Albright of Albuquerque; three grandchildren; and a sister, ELizabeth Whitekettle of Bellefonte.
Funeral services will be at Koch Funral Home, Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. William H Rader officiating. Burial will be at Boalsburg Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funral home Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.

Services were held at the Koch funeral home by Rev William H. Rader. Internment was in the Boalsburg Cemetery beside her husband.Endnotes
