Eli Posthuam, 78, of W7448 Hemlock Road Beaver Dam, died Friday, Dec. 17, 1993 at Waupun Memorial Hospital, Waupun.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec 20, at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam. The Rev. Mark Lindner officiated. Burial was in the Randolph Cemetery.
Mr. Posthuma was born on June 30, 1915, in Randolph, the son of Eli and Gertrude (Dykstra) Posthuma. He married Lucina Lachelt. He was a lifelong resident of the Randolph area. He was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam and formerly a longtime member and janitor of the Randolph United Methodist Church. He was a retired employee for Rockwell Interntional, Randolph.
Survivors include one son, Fred (Theresa) Posthuma, Westfield, Wis,; one daughter, Nancy Navis, South Bend, Ind.; two granchildren; nieces, nehews; other relatives and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; five brothers, John, Henry, August, george and Sjouke; one sister Jennie Kikkert.
The Murray Community Funeral Home, Beaver Dam served the family.
