Jennie Kikkert, 82, formerly of Randolph, currently of 198 Home Road, Juneau, died Monday, Dec. 14, 1992 at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Dec. 17, at 11 a.m. at First Reformed Church, Randolph, Rev. Calvin J. Vande Zande will officiate. Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery, Randolph.
Mrs. Kikkert was born on Jan. 11, 1910 in Randolph, daughter of Eli and Gertie (Dykstra) Posthuma. She married John Kikkert on Sept. 18, 1929.
Jennie was a lifelong resident of the Randolph area, who along with her husband owned and operated a local farm. She was a member of First Reformed Church, Randolph, and Ladies Aid Society.
Survivors include two sons, Elmer (Charlene) Kikkert, Fox Lake, Eugene (Muriel) Kikkert, Waupun; one brother, Eli Posthuma, Beaver Dam; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1984; one infant son; one grandson, gary; five brothers, John, Henry, August, George and Sjouke Posthuma.
Friends may call at the Medema-Grove Community Funeral Home, Randolph on Wednesday Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Thursday, Dec. 17, from 10 a.m. to the time of service.
