This family lived most of its life in New Canaan. As the descendants of Abigail amd Stephen are very many, and found in Rider to Ryder, The Descendants of Ebenezer Rider of New Canaan, by these compiler, they are not repeated here. However, the known children of Abigail and Stephen were these:
i. Esther Ryder, b. 1818. In his will, her grandfather Gideon Corey left her a sheep in remembrance. She is the great-great-grandmother of D. Lahey, the compiler of this genealogy.
ii. Elizabeth Ryder, b. c1821.
iii. Solomon Ryder
iv. William B. Ryder, b. c1827.
v. Abigail Ryder, b. c1829.

All descendants of Abigail Corey and Stephen Rider have Mayflower descent, through the lines of William Brewster and Stephen Hopkins.
