Individual Details

JAMES GARDNER COREY

(3 Jun 1820 - 4 Jun 1893)

This family lived on Butternut Ridge, near Havelock NB. Three of the sons moved to far places - one became a place miner in British Columbia, one a homesteader in Saskatchewan, and one a missionary in India.

Anne Keith's first names are sometimes given as "Nancy Annie." However, Nancy is the diminutive of Anne, and she would not have been given the same name twice. Her headstone gives her date of death at 20 Feb 1854 "in her 30th year." [Corey Book]
