HEBRON YOUNG COREY

(13 Mar 1862 - 31 Mar 1928)

He was in Havelock for the 1891 census, his age given as 29, his occupation as student. His obituary reads,:

He attended the Provincial Normal School in Fredericton and taught for some years. In 1891 he graduated a B.A. from Acadia University, and was at Newton Theological College for the next three years. From Newton he went to India under the Foreign Mission Board of the Convention of United Baptists of the Maritime Provinces, and served from 1894 to 1923 at Vizianagram, Pariakimadi, Bimlipatam, and Waltair. In 1923 he returned to Canada on furlough was extended indefinitely. He died at Wolfville on March 31 1928, and is buried there.
