In 1861 she was living at Coles Island with her brother Jacob, her age given as 36, a single woman. In 1871 she was living at New Canaan with her brother Jacob, her age given as 46, a single woman. She was said to have taught school in the area. She married late in life, and there were no children to that marriage.
