Obituary: The Owen Leader, May 27, 1976, reads: Kenneth E Query, 65-ye ar-old Sp encer resident and retired from the meat department at Litte n's IGA, died Monda y at Bloomington Hospital. He retired in 1975 aft er 24 years with the local fo od store. He was born June 24, 1910 so n of Thomas and Nancy Stevens Query. Su rvivors are his wife, the for mer Helen Owens, to whom he was married in 1939; a son James of rura l Spencer and a granddaughter survive. He was preceded in de ath by f ive bothers and a sister. Mr. Query was a member of the Spencer Chris t ian Church. The funeral will be held today, Thursday 2 p.m. at Wes t and Parris h Funeral Home with the Rev. Bruce Fagerstrom officiating . Burial will be in R iverside Cemetery.
